Sure, I’ve written a lot of Scooby-Doo books, but I’ve also written books about other characters. For instance, a number of years ago I started this new book series called Space Quest. It’s an adventure that’s out of this world…literally! You can read more about it below.
I also wrote a few books about that fellow who lives in pineapple under the sea. That’s right, SpongeBob SquarePants! And I’ve got to tell you, those books were all sorts of fun to write. And then a couple of years ago, Dragon Booster came along, and I got to know a brand-new set of really amazing characters. Through it all, Scooby and the gang remained close to my heart as I continued to work on new adventures for them.
CAPER GETS EVEN
A few years ago, I started work on an original story that grew into my first novel for young readers. It’s called Caper Gets Even, and it’s about an ordinary fifth grader who finds out something about himself that’s not so ordinary: his parents named him after a dog! While Caper comes to grips with that shocking bit of news, he’s still learning to adjust to his new life as a recently-diagnosed diabetic. Caper and his friends are probably a lot like you, so I hope you’ll enjoy spending time with them. If you want a sneak peek of the story, click below to download the first chapter. I’d love to hear what you think about it, so after you’ve read it, feel free to send me an e-mail. Click here or on the word “Contact” on the yellow header bar.

ADA’S PIRATE
This past year I finished my second novel for middle grader readers - that’s those of you in grades 4 - 6. It’s called Ada’s Pirate, and it’s about…well, instead of telling you what it’s about, why don’t you read the first chapter to see for yourself? Have fun!
